Comprehensive Design/Build Service (CDBS) - 1993

 In 1992 Comprehensive Design/Build Services (CDBS) was founded. I worked parttime at nights and weekends as I acquired knowledge working on various types of projects at different firms; Chris H. Renfree, BJ's Wholesale Club (Store Planning), Merchandising Construction Management, Cramer Levine & Company Architects, Mount Vernon Group Architects, and engineers William Bishop, and Fred K. Hanack. 

Each one of the above listed firms had unique project types from store planning,  kenneling, office buildings, medical facilities, warehouses, schools and residential design; all different types of projects with an educational value for which today I am thankful. All of which I have learned, gives me the opportunity to work in the community I serve today.

Eighteen years ago I hung a shingle and went fulltime, in 2015 opened an office in downtown New Bedford and I am thankful for the people I have served and continue to serve.

In 2022, CDBS celebrates 30 years. I am thankful to those I have worked for and learned from. I thank my clients. Most importantly, I thank my wife and daughter for their support.

I look forward to serving the community for many years with my daughter, Victoria A. Dumas, at my side.

As a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Technical Vocation High School class of 1983, I'm a firm believer of co-operative education and have brought in students from areal vocational schools from the Architectural Drafting department to give them an opportunity in which it has provided an excellent group of team members.
